Bill Robinson MBA MSW

Bill Robinson has 14 years experience in senior leadership roles across independent public sector organisations and local authorities.

He has been instrumental in successfully developing and implementing innovative solutions for improving performance, building effective strategic partnerships and managing complex organisational change.

Bill understands very well the imperatives for change and the challenges faced by senior managers who are under pressure to deliver strong strategic leadership and effective operational delivery.

Bill established BR Management Ltd having moved from a Chief Executive role to realise a long held ambition to set up an independent specialist management consultancy where he could bring to bear his broad perspective from right across the public sector.

BR Management works with local authorities and independent public sector organisations to provide support through analysis and advice as well as efficient, highly focussed, cost effective solutions that meet their particular business needs by delivering the required outcomes.

Since our inception, BR Management has worked with clients across the UK to drive forward improvements in performance and value for money within local and national organisations across the full range of Children's Services provision.

Achievements

Leadership of local authority change programmes in London and the North-East to maximise the added value of partnerships, service integration and value for money.


Consultancy and interim leadership for national charities within the Children's Services sector. With an emphasis on developing the most effective business models for meeting the challenges and opportunities of the current economic and policy context.


Providing consultancy and project leadership to a review and reshaping of delivery arrangements across children's social care provision in a large shire authority.


Leading the development of a new independent business with circa £7m turnover. The service developed a strong track record of high performance and a national reputation for innovation, attracting positive government interest.


Leading a performance improvement programme across a range of local authority services circa £10m and 700 employees. Increasing productivity and target achievement across all areas within 12 months.


Leading the development of a large statutory multi-agency service across two shire authorities. This was a leading-edge service working across local government, police, health and voluntary sector boundaries.
